Naeela Chaudry, Ph.D.
GBE Alliance, Inc. welcomes Dr. Chaudry to our practice! Dr. Chaudry will conduct autism evaluations for children and adults of all ages. Face to face evaluations available in Denver, CO and telehealth evaluations available in CO, TN, and MO. Naeela Chaudry, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist, currently conducting psychological evaluations with children, adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities and emotional and social difficulties,
as well as, providing evidence-based therapy to individuals across the lifespan dealing with a variety of clinical diagnosis and often dual diagnosis and other complex cases. Her educational background includes a master’s degree in Clinical Child Psychology, a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and completion of a two-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Developmental Disabilities from the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester New York, which lead to licensure as a Clinical Psychologist. Her post-doctoral fellowship involved working in several different clinics with the interdisciplinary team to conduct psychological evaluations (esp. with ASD, LD, ADHD), psychiatric evaluations, behavioral management consultations with school, day programs, and residential programs, and outpatient therapy to individuals and families, group therapy, and in-home behavioral management to families in crisis..
She went on to work at Premier Health Care in the Bronx and Manhattan, New York, where she continued to conduct psychological evaluations and psychosocial assessments on children, adolescents and adults with variety of psychological problems and/or developmental disabilities. She continued to provide therapy to all age ranges, as well as, parent training, social skills training groups, and group psychotherapy to dual diagnosed, young adults. In her position as senior supervising psychologist and Clinic Liaison, she supervised and trained all mental health clinicians to work using an interdisciplinary model. Concurrently, she worked as a consulting psychologist for New York League for Early Learning, performing assessments on toddlers and preschool children to determine level of cognitive and psychological functioning to make recommendations to the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) on educational placement and ameliorating psychological and behavioral issues.
For the past 15 years, Dr. Chaudry has worked in private agencies, as well as, her own private practice, and as a consultant, continuing to provide high quality psychological evaluations and therapy for individuals with developmental disabilities (ASD, LD, intellectual disabilities and ADHD), as well as, therapy for a broad and diverse clinical population.
